1. I have registered my domain name for more than one year. Why does whois.net show it expires after one year?
Each domain is automatically renewed on an annual basis. Even though the domain name may be ordered for a longer term, the whois.net will show it as an annual expiration since that is the renewal basis we utilize.
2. How often am I required to pay my domain registration?
Domain registration fees are paid on an annual basis. When the domain nears expiration, you will receive notification 30 days in advance to confirm continued domain renewal process.
3. What are the character limitations in naming a domain?
A domain name can have up to 59 characters. Domain names can only use letters,
numbers, and hyphens ("-"). Spaces, punctuation marks, and other symbols are not
allowed. A domain name cannot begin or end with a hyphen. IDN (International Domain
Names) for .com, .info, .net, .org, .biz, .cc, .tv and .ws can contain ä, ö and ü symbols.
4. Are hosting packages available?
Hosting packages are available with basic package options.
5. What is SSL?
SSL stands for secure socket layer. This is a secure site pages which use 128 bit encryption technology. This ensures that data is encrypted so only you receive your form information without interception by another party. 6. I have my own domain address on another server, can I use the SSL service?
Yes. The main use for this server is so you can have forms or confidential information pages on a secure site. All you require is a web site with a link to the secure page and a link returning to your originating site. If you prefer, you can have only one page as your web site on the secure page.
7. Why does the domain address not begin with https://www.secureweblinks.com but it appears as http://www.secureweblinks.com ?
Only a section of our site is secured. The secure section of our site is reserved to provide service described in section 5 above. To access this section of our server, the address is https://www.access.secureweblinks.com. When you enter this page, you will notice a padlock in the lower right of your web browser indicating a secure page.
